Biomolecular sciences is a very internationally oriented research field that benefits from strong multidisciplinary know-how in genetics, microbiology, molecular cell biology, computational and structural biology, biochemistry, synthetic biology and systems biology. During this 2-year master’s programme, you will acquire in-depth knowledge and skills through upper-level theoretical and practical training. I am currently completing an internship in a lab at the GBB where I am conducting a study examining the impact of bacteria in the intestines of Parkinson’s patients on the effectiveness of their medication. Next year, I hope to start a PhD programme after completing my master’s.”

Entry requirements to the programme are a Bachelor’s degree with a specialisation in Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Biology, Molecular Biology, or Molecular Genetics. The Master’s programme in Biomolecular Sciences employs a selection procedure. Selection is based on your academic performance and your reasons for wanting to enrol in the master’s programme.
